 At Home Color Survival Kit Instructions

  1. Put on your apron, gloves and drape the towel around your shoulders
  2. Use the skin protector wipes to wipe along your hairline & your ears
  3. Mixing - Pour developer in applicator bottle, add entire tube of color (use the pointy end of the cap to puncture the opening) & shake well for 2 mins
  4. Divide your hair into manageable subsections, starting with two sections and then dividing each section again from the top of you head to your ear to make 4 sections (quadrants)
  5. Where to start: start in the back of your hair if you don’t have many grays and in your most gray area if you (usually the front)
  6. Apply color to small sections of hair, taken care to press color on the regrowth and not to smudge
  7. Leave on hair to process for 35 minutes (or the time your stylist informed you in your consult)
  8. Rinse well, taking special care to protect your eyes
  9. Use post color shampoo & conditioner samples
  10. Discard any remaining product
  11. Style hair as usual!

 

NOTE: If you have also purchased a Gloss add on, proceed to Gloss Instructions after step 9 (use only 1/2 sample of shampoo to cleanse your hair) and towel dry your hair.

 

At Home Gloss Survival Kit Instructions

 

  1. Put on your apron, gloves and drape the towel around your shoulders and detangle hair well
  2. Mixing – Pour developer into the applicator bottle, squeeze entire tube of gloss color tube in the applicator bottle, shake well
  3. Section hair into 4 easy to manage sections from the center of your forehead all the way back to your neck and then from the top of your head to your ear
  4. Isolate each section of your hair with a clip or elastic band so it doesn't get in your way
  5. Using a firm but gentle grip on the applicator bottle, insert the tip on the applicator bottle into your 1st section and squeeze out product onto the scalp. Imagine drawing a zig-zag line on your scalp while squeezing out the product. Repeat process through each section to coat your roots.  Work quickly through this step.
  6. After your root area is saturated with product, you can massage the product from your root down like you are shampooing your hair. The product should spread nicely and be well saturated, add more product if needed.
  7. Process for 15 mins
  8. Discard any mixed product
  9. Use the color shampoo & conditioner samples
  10. Style as usual

 

At Home INOA Color Survival Kit

  1. Put on your apron, gloves and drape the towel around your shoulders
  2. Use the skin protector wipes to wipe along your hairline & your ears
  3. Mixing – Pour the developer into the mixing bowl, add entire tube of Inoa color (use the pointy end of the cap to puncture the opening) & mix well with a spoon/spatula for 2 mins
  4. Divide your hair into manageable subsections, starting with two sections and then dividing each section again from the top of you head to your ear to make 4 sections (quadrants)
  5. Where to start: start in the front of your hair
  6. Apply color to small sections of hair, taken care to press color on the regrowth and not to smudge
  7. Leave on hair to process for 35 minutes (or the time your stylist informed you in your consult)
  8. Emulsion - During the last 2-3 minutes of processing, begin to loosen the color away from the scalp with a gentle massaging motion (and without stimulating scalp)continue working through to the mid-length and ends. Once loosened at a small amount of lukewarm water and continue the emulsion process Emulsion Directions
  9. Rinse hair well, ensure to protect your eyes
  10. Use post color shampoo & conditioner samples
  11. Discard any remaining product
  12. Style hair as usual

 

NOTE: If you have also purchased a Gloss add on, proceed to Gloss Instructions after step 10 (use 1/2 a shampoo sample to cleanse your hair) and towel dry your hair.

  1.  Detangle hair well
  2. Mixing – Squeeze entire tube of gloss color tube in the applicator bowl and mix well
  3. Section hair into 4 easy to manage sections from the center of your forehead all the way back to your neck and then from the top of your head to your ear
  4. Isolate each section of your hair with a clip or elastic band so it doesn't get in your way
  5. Work through each section to brush color onto sections of hair, ensuring hair is well saturated, comb through.
  6. Process for 25 min
  7. Rinse Well
  8. Use the post color conditioner packetts (no shampoo)
  9. Style as usual
